Accessible Transport
Cork Center
For Independent Living provides an accessible transport
service for people with mobility disabilities.
Accessible transport is
essential for equal participation in all daily activities.
One of the single largest areas of concern raised by people
with disabilities is accessible transport. Clearly, most
forms of transport are very inaccessible for people with
disabilities. Our aim is to enhance the participation and
involvement of people with disabilities in access to
training, to cultural, social, recreational activities and
leisure events through the provision of accessible transport
and assistant supports.
